This is the central page to which you will keep returning
as you move from one unit of the course to another. Only a few of the units
will be available when the course first goes online (summer 2000). The
others will be added at a rate of roughly one per month after that.
You should start by taking a brief look at spelling and
pronunciation.
You are unlikely to assimilate the whole section all
at one go.
You can return to it as often as you feel necessary later
on.
You should then go on and gradually work your way through
our various units.
If you really want to learn the language actively, we
recommend you to take your time and do most or all of the exercises and
make sure you have assimilated each unit before you go on to the next.
Even if you are only interested in a superficial idea of what Romansh is
like, we still recommend that you look at all parts of each unit, although
you will probably spend less time trying to get the exercises right.
Remember that whatever language you learn, it is always
better to study a little regularly (ideally every day) than to tackle big
chunks at once!
